…………… Nina had many thoughts upon seeing a soaking wet Mr. Flamsteed. And none of them were kind. Which is why she chose to keep them to herself as she watched him walk towards her. It was harder to keep the judgement from her face, but she certainly was trying to. It was very important that Mr. Flamsteed liked her; she had made it her mission.
She couldn't help wonder, however, why he was so wet. Hopefully this wouldn’t be their task. Her hair was SO cute and she wasn’t wearing waterproof mascara! These (and many more) were the thoughts that kept her occupied as she watch Mr. Flamsteed tell off his two employees. But when his attention turned back to her, Nina felt heat rise to her cheeks. Um. Suddenly she felt incredibly embarrassed and all words escaped her.
Fortunately, Mackenzie stepped in at just that very moment. Nina nodded, turning to give the older girl a small, appreciative smile before returning her gaze back to the wet Department Head. ”Especially with practice,” which Nina obviously had a lot of. Would….. It be easy to move around in her skirt? Maybe not as easy as they were trying to pass it off to be. But Nina wasn’t going to let it hold her back from completing their task with flying colors. She NEEDED to be impressive, remember?
As for Lucas, Nina payed him no mind. There wasn’t reason to at the moment and her attention was on Mr. Flamsteed.
