As announced earlier this year,
Harry Potter author and
Fantastic Beasts' scribe J.K. Rowling would receive the
Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Ripple of Hope honor for her contribution for their work toward human rights and their exceptional work toward a more just and peaceful world.
Rowling received the honor for her charity Lumos and work toward it, at a ceremony in New York City on Thursday. A few photos can be found below.
