Jonathan is definitely pumped up with this plan and he is more hyped because Fletcher is there for all of these. Yes, Jonathan is a bit of the shy type but with that solely depends on the person he is with. Pretty sure Fletcher is going to wheel his shyness out with a blink of an eye. Thank Merlin for that.
And oooooohhhhh.... They will be starting in the Department of Mysteries. Jonathan is curious to see what their office looks like. He stood up right after Fletcher stood as well. He walked towards the sink area and left his coffee mug next to it, he will be cleaning that later. "let's go" he said making sure to tidy his tie up. "And so, we come to Level Nine, and this is the Department of Mysteries, as you know, our intended destination," Fletcher continued, having lazily narrated his and Jonathan's lift ride to Level 9. Of course Fletcher was more than capable of making things fun; he'd absolutely peppered his narration with his very best dad jokes. Nevermind that Jonathan likely knew more about the entire Ministry than Fletcher did because the Junior Undersecretary was going to deliver on his promise to the new Ombudsman. He was going to introduce him to EVERYONE.
The minute they stepped into the erm...entryway.... of the Department of Mysteries, however, Fletcher began to have doubts about his ability to deliver on his promise. "What in tarnation is this place?" he wondered aloud, rather taken aback at the roundness of the chamber, bleakness of the atmosphere, and ....wetness of the floor? Were they standing in water? Where were all the cubicles, and the secretary, and all the normal things the other floors had?
The sound of a door closing to their right nearly made the man jump, but before he could say anything else, the room started to spin...
