... Okay, fine, it was graffiti. He'd been pretty okay at it too, although... that was mostly based on his, uh... very young opinion. Mostly he had been happy simply to reproduce vague images on a surface, or repeatedly put down a tag, given that at the time he couldn't write proper words or anything. But a lot of time had passed since then, and Kaiser didn't really do that anymore. There wasn't much point, now that he had other stuff to fill his time. He didn't do any regular art either, beyond pointless doodling in class, so his arrival in the arts studio was very out of character.

Which was exactly why he was here. Nobody would think to look for him in this part of the castle, after all. The roof would have been better, but he'd only recently told Trent he wouldn't get caught climb up there, and he was easy to spot in trees, so was having to get creative with new places to hide away in such a busy building.

There was someone already in here, but Kaiser only really cared that he didn't run into anyone he knew. He hesitated in the doorway for only a moment before stepping inside and softly shutting the door behind him. He grabbed some paper and some pens, and set himself up at a separate workstation, briefly glancing over at the other occupant of the room that he recognised from some of his classes, before he looked down at his paper and... stared.

... So... thinking up something to draw was a lot harder once you actually had the blank paper in front of you, huh?

Claudine heard someone come in, heard them rustling about but she paid no attention to whomever it may be. This was how she had recently learnt she could be; it was now easy for her to block out anything that she didn’t want to focus on. Art had done that for her and she was going to be forever grateful for it. The young girl had set up her supplies: water, paint brushes of various sizes and most importantly, the paint. The first bit of paint was applied to a sketched rose. To her awe, the rose flashed from red to pink and back again; interchangeably.

Wow.

Magic really was amazing.

Claudine continued to work on the roses, using the same paint because it was perfect for those flowers. For Dorian’s uniform and skin, however, she would use regular paint. Who needed his skin to change to purple or green or something?

Finally, she set her brush down, tip in the water. It was now that she looked around and saw Kaiser- the popular Slytherin. Claudine wondered what he was working on. Her curiosity got the best of her and on her way to get some regular paint, she paused by his workstation. Her usual serious gaze looked down on his paper and she hoped she had snuck up quietly enough so that he hadn’t heard her footsteps.

Claudine was just lurking.
