When she'd first heard about the ball, Daila had been excited. Now, she wasn't so sure. It wasn't the dancing that threw her. No, it was the Beauxbatons Headmistress' attitude to anyone from Hogwarts. It just put a whole lot of unneeded pressure on them, knowing she was just waiting for them to screw up. And she would probably be scrutinizing their moves at the ball, looking for even the tiniest thing wrong.
Not that Dalia necessarily had anything to worry about on that front. She wasn't a pro by any means, but she had been to a class here and there. So, she arrived in the ballroom wearing shorts and a t-shirt (no wardrobe malfunctions for her, thanks) and shoes appropriate for ballroom dancing. "Hello," she greeted the room at large cheerfully.
