Sputtering and splashing around in the fountain, Tommy’s eyes landed on the lady and the little girl. ”My hotdog!” It was all he could think of to say. ”Hotdog?” the lady asked as Emma who had found the hotdog, watched it bounce around in the air. ”His hotdog was floating mamma!” A big giggle escaped her as something tickled her face and her hair bounced around her face. ”Floating?” the lady replied. ”What silly imaginations kids have these days.” She offered a hand to the man in the fountain. Tommy took the proffered hand and allowed the woman to help him to his feet. If the little girl had seen the hotdog floating, well, then Tommy himself felt a little better about the entire encounter. Still…he was going to take the rest of the day off work. Mr. Oppsokopolis was knocked back a few feet as the Halloween decoration moved… MOVED! into him. ”HEY!” he yelled out as he stumbled back a few feet, somehow managing not to fall over. ”What the tarnation is going on here?!” Whoever set up these skeleton horses really went above and beyond…maybe it was some stunt for a movie or TV? He looked around and the edged back closer to the horse thing, reaching out a hand to try and touch it again.
