"Perhaps eenstead of your colleague's bowtie you could focus on your students' appropriateness," he muttered gruffly with a sharp inclination of the head towards the student with her bellybutton on display showing.

To add further insult to injury, another Hogwarts youth [sweetpinkpixie] had arrived with a black eye, though words were swiftly delivered by the Hogwarts Potions Master so he supposed he could avert his icy stare elsewhere for the time being.

He did, easily, return the smile of Mademoiselle Amin and cleared his throat upon hearing Monsieur Vayssière. At least they were present and accounted for, which was more than he could say for a few particular members of the House of Papillonlisse.
