What is a Diagon Alley!! Visions of being a centaur tour guide filled Maxie's mind and he was just about to launch into a vivid explanation of the sights and smells and sounds of the famous British alley, when he was stopped by another centaur, asking about him.
Maxie took a moment to properly survey the four-legged crowd. He noted the pretty colours they left on the brick wall, and he also noted that they all had very different personalities. One, the first one, seemed... untrusting. The one with the braids, he liked her. The braiding reminded him of his sister. And, the third one, the third one didn't seem to like him at all.
"Max-" Oh, wait. The leaky owner was here. He knew her, somewhat, since he always liked to grab lunch here when running his work errands. "And I'm Maximilian, but usually people call me Maxie," he said his first name with a stronger French accent, and quickly returned to the London way of speaking he'd carefully learned. "My intention is to help you, sir! Would you like to hear some music? Or something to eat? Or, perhaps, explore the alley with me?" Maxie, at centaur service!
