Gemma had been bursting with energy for this lesson so she had woken up way too early in order to prepare herself. She had hoped to get here early but getting a little lost had delayed her. 'Merlin, this school is a maze.' Hopefully Hogwarts was more self-explanatory.
Morning Headmaster," Gemma smiled at Headmaster Trent as she quickly scooped out a place to sit. Not liking drawing attention to herself, sitting near the back was her best option.
Gemma spotted Faye sitting at a table with another Slytherin student. As she passed she gave the Hufflepuff a smile and mouthed hello. She made her way towards a girl sketching near the back.
"Mind if I join you? Without really waiting for a reply she sat down, pulling out her book and something to write with. "I'm Gemma Black, by the way." She politely introduced herself to her fellow housemate. She didn't really want to bother her so she flipped to a random page in the book and idly read. |
