The fact that the classroom Kaiser needed to be in next was called 'A1' kind of implied that it would be easy to find, first room of the first batch and all - it was classrooms like F23 you had to worry about, and Kaiser hoped there wasn't such a room. In the end, it wasn't difficult to find, but he'd still needed to wander around for a bit to work out the vague direction he had needed to go to find it. It didn't help that he was still operating on no sleep at all (as was probably clear from the dark circles under his eyes), Herbology not really being the best place to have a quick nap even if he had been able to, so Kaiser wasn't really functioning on all cylinders.

But here he was. Kaiser wondered if it was possible that Headmaster Trent knew yet about his OWL grade in this subject. He had the mist situation to deal with, after all, as well as the move to Beauxbatons, and there was the fact that Kaiser hadn't taken his exams until late in the summer and so had only received his results two days prior. Also, maybe Trent wouldn't care about his grades; Kaiser wouldn't have held it against him at all.

But an E. Exceeds Expectations. Kaiser had been absolutely floored to see he had managed the second highest possible grade in not just Defence Against the Dark Arts, but Potions as well, seeing as the most he ever usually managed were Acceptables. Yes, he had failed five of his other exams, but that wasn't the point. He would never admit it, but part of Kaiser really yearned for some sort of approval, starved of it as he was in the absence of any, you know, parents, and in this situation he kind of wanted it to come from Trent himself. But Kaiser wasn't allowing himself to expect it; Trent was a busy man, hundreds of students, a school to run, disaster at every turn, etcetera, etcetera.

Kaiser also didn't want to be obvious about the whole thing either, didn't want anyone to even suspect that he craved that acknowledgement, especially as it really was extremely un-Kaiser-like. So, when he entered the classroom, he simply greeted Trent with a (very tired sounding), "Morning," and looked for somewhere to sit.

Hmm. Groups. Well, the large majority of students present were a lot younger than he was, though Rylee and Dorian were there already. They were probably hoping for friends to sit with them though, and Kaiser wouldn't deny that he'd have liked to sit with people he was slightly more familiar with too. Nodding at the two in greeting nevertheless, Kaiser went ahead and claimed one of the rapidly declining number of free tables while he still could. Not having any desire to go poking around mysterious objects, especially in this lesson, Kaiser let the box and the sheet well enough alone.
