I have a ball, need a partner.
Eniola was looking forward to this. Seeing practical ways to show students the meaning behind spells or why they’re needed as non-verbal, especially in an all ages class, without magic was perfect. Now all ages can do it with a similar skill level, except Quidditch players who have much better aim than the average. She thought. Well, she hoped. She is trying out for her house team after all.
As the balls were handed out she thought she saw a wicked grin on the Headmaster’s face when he got to her, but she could very well just Ben picturing things. Gripping the ball in her hand it didn’t seem too hard but pliable enough for her to get a good grip on it. Looking around she saw that quite a few people didn’t have a ball and she tried to make eye contact with someone close to her age - she wouldn’t feel right hitting a firstie - to pair up. “Anyone looking for a partner? I’ve got a ball.” Eni said just as she made eye contact with someone.
