That was the worst thing she could do for her social status at Hogwarts.

And while she had very few friends, she still had a reputation to uphold. That's what mattered most.

Again her eyes returned back to her magazine, legs outstretched before her. Her feet were aching, you see. Wearing heels all day did that to a person. Beauty was pain. It would be quite a while before she would have to change into (the drab) school uniform, and she planned on enjoying her freedom while she still had the chance. The freedom and blisters, apparently. Nina only looked up when she heard the door slide open once more. Thinking it must be the same boy, the Slytherin closed her copy of teen-witch, and looked up to glare at--

Oh.

Immediately her expression softened (not all the way, but quite a bit) and she paused to consider the question. Truth be told, she didn't want to share her compartment with someone she didn't know. Nor did she want to share it with a girl when she could sit with a cute boy instead. But seeing that it had been quite a while since she had boarded, the chances of a cute boy stumbling by were starting to look incredibly slim. And if she said yes, others who passed by would hopefully assume the two of them were friends. Nina needed more of those. For show, obviously.

And so she nodded, "I don't mind." She gestured to the girl to come in, giving her a warm (albeit, somewhat practiced smile). "I'm Nina Castillo," she offered, extending her hand forward, somewhat wincing as she removed her feet from the seat across from her and placed them back on the floor.
It was not easy to be a new student, she admitted that. Not to mention the Korean-American came from the different county so the culture and habit lag was kind of real. Remember when she was confused with fries, chips and crisps? Yeah, that was one of the example. She didn't know how the social rules acted around here, including the seat on this train. Perhaps the girl in this compartment was waiting for her clique or significant to join so Aurora wouldn't mind to step away.

But apparently didn't.

"Thank you." She smiled as she took a seat and put her Chanel bag down. "It's kind of difficult when you're a new student and try to find an available compartment." Not that she was complaining, but it's just a little bit confusing for a newbie like her. Noticing the girl introduced herself and extended her hand, Aurora smiled back and took her hand while shaking it. "Aurora Chae, I just transferred to be sixth year this term." Casually she mentioned about being a new student because she did have no idea whether Nina was a returning student or also a new kid on the block just like herself.

Aurora couldn't help but noticed about the painful expression on the girl's face. "I have some healing paste to help with the blisters." She totally understood the suffer of wearing high heels, even though she only wore that for some certain occasions.
