Thankfully, though, the seekers had both pulled out of their dives towards the Minister with just enough time. That being said, Conley had still ducked and hoped the Minster wasn’t too ruffled. As they flew off to continue their search for the elusive gold object, Conley stood back up. Was he embarrassed about this Chivalrous attempt to save the Minster? Nope. He took a moment to straighten his robes and readjust his Union Jack Rosette Ribbon on his chest.
And realized his wristwatch was gone. The wristwatch his father had given him upon graduating from Hogwarts. Conley had worn that watch for over half his life. Where could it have gone? He looked around the ground. Maybe it had fallen off? ”Excuse me,” he asked someone nearby. ”You haven’ seen a wristwatch have you?” If they said no, he’d try the summoning spell next. Dom was so enthused about the Cup. He was getting the chance to see this years, it was going to be great. He had saved enough from work to make the trip overseas to see this.
After choosing his seat he could hear someone nearby who seemed to have lost it. "Sorry man. Where'd you last see it on you?" That was a good start. "What does it look like?" That would help, wouldn't it? |
