She slammed her fist against her broom handle, furious that the bludger once again seemed to have a mind of its own. Unfortunately, her strike not only missed McKay, but the bludger ended up on a crash course towards Anand. Almost in unison with Aparna, Nila shouted “Mayur! The bludger!” Relief washed over her as she watched it whizz by his head and he appeared to not be severely harmed.

Having had enough of the bludger’s odd behavior, Nila decided to try and corral it and hopefully keep it away from her teammates. She set off on a course after the bludger, bat at the ready. She was more than willing to sacrifice herself for the good of the team.
