To the right of the common room, an entrance leads to a corridor for the girls' dormitories. Down a dim hall you'll find a door for each year. Girls are assigned to sleep in the same dorm as the other girls in their year. No exceptions.

There is a four-poster bed for each girl with ancient, green velvet curtains for privacy when needed. Each bed, though old, has a comfortably cushy mattress, clean white sheets and Slytherin themed duvets and pillows. Extra blankets, if needed, are stored in a closet by the door.

You'll find that all of your belongings fit nicely in your trunk at the foot of your bed. You also have a desk beside your bed should you wish to do your homework in your dormitory. The same green, grimy windows line the dormitory that peer into the lake.

If you aren't a girl and you attempt to enter this corridor... well, you'll find out what happens. You won't get very far.
