"They'll do," Priya shot back at her captain with a small little grin. He certainly knew her ways, and how much it irritated her when non Quidditch related things interfered with the game. In the last few minutes she had to stretch, Priya took a moment to spare a glance towards the crowds far above their heads, and specifically at the massive section of Indian fans who had traveled across the world for them. We win this together, Priya thought to herself, broadcasting the thought outwards towards their beloved fans. She'd see to it. They had not lost yet, and she was certainly not about to start now.
And then it was time.
Flexing her fingers, setting her guards, Priya Malviya kicked off from the ground with a whoop and flew towards her hoops, focused and ready. Eyes on the quaffle, awareness of the bludgers. Here we go.
