It wasn't a surprise that her captain was already out on the field. What was surprising was the fact that she appeared to be second from their team. Nila was usually one of the last to walk out on the field. Not because she was late, but because she hated the pregame panic she always felt. The less time she spent waiting on the field, the better it was for her nerves.
She took a few deep breaths and headed towards Raju. Her steps slowed as she approached and Nila came to a quiet halt to his right side, not saying a word. If her captain knew her as well as she thought he did, he would know she needed his strength and calm before the big game.
