Patrick was giving her all of his attention as she talked about being excited for their date. Heat started flooding his cheeks as he thought about that. He had been really excited and nervous too. He waited for the heat to leave his cheeks.
“I was really excited for or date too.” he smile at her.
“That sounds like a good idea to me. I’d like to see you more.”
He noticed one of his team mates (Skylar) waving at him he nodded his head and looked back at Jolie. She was his priority on this date and he wanted her to know.
“Anything you don’t like?” he was regarding the something. Sweet because he wanted this to go well he was enjoying her company and her friendship even if he had taken a fist to the face.
