The young brunette pulled a disgusted face at the sight because it was all very disgusting. A ripped piece of parchment in a box full of actual rubbish. Why would anyone want anything from there!? Disgusting!
Catherine's gaze went from the parchment to the girl holding it to see what she was going to do with it. Still holding the paper, Roma inspected it for any other trace of writing and there was nothing. It had only been doodled with a name and all those mushy hearts. To her, it spoke volumes of how the teenage mind worked. And she did not like it. Not one bit. After making one last quick scan of the paper, Roma dropped it back into the box. "Gross..." she said to herself. The paper no longer interested her, and the workings of a teenage mind weren't anything that appealed to her either. Did the minds of Lucy and Finlay, her only teenage cousins, work that way too? It was so weird. Teenagers were so weird.
The brunette looked back up and scanned the other awful things in display. How were the owners of this shop able to pay rent here? Did people actually buy things from this shop? Roma was baffled. It was only then she saw her reflection on the window, along with the reflection of another girl near her. She turned her head to the side and looked at the girl, whom she was aware was around her age as well.
With an eyebrow slightly raised, Roma hesitated before greeting her with a "Hi." Mama had always told her that staring at someone for too long was rude.
