As much as Abra loved flying, he was still less than thrilled about the fact that this was to happen outside. This was nothing new, of course; he had been whining and moaning about the cold Scotland air since his very first year, though since then had become a lot better at things like warming and insulation charms on his clothes. So, you know, today was not as bad as it could have been.

It wasn't as good as it could have been either, but it was only going to get colder, so Abra knew he just had to deal with it.

He had been a little nervous about the fact that they didn't need their broomsticks for today, so Abra was relieved when he arrived at the pitch and saw broomsticks already there and scattered around. It gave him a little more confidence that they might, in fact, still be flying.

"Good morning, Professor Adara," Abra greeted, as he turned in his assignment (which he had written with a Spell Check Quill, as was the case with all of his assignments) and stood by waiting for class to start. He thought about adding 'Happy Halloween' too, but what with the professor reading her whatever-she-was-reading, Abra felt that maybe he was only going to end up distracting her from that, and so remained silent.

SPOILER!!: assignment
My favourite broomstick is my broomstick. It's a special custom build by a broommaker in Egypt and it's my favourite because it was specially built to fit me and my flying habits, like how hard I turn or brake, so I'm less likely to under- or overdo it. It feels like an extension of me rather than a piece of flying equipment and I love that.
