And holding his breath sounded like a good place to start. Once Torii took a deep breath, he followed her lead and took his own deep breath before holding it. A count of ten seemed like a good rule of thumb and he mentally counted it out.
"Did it...?" HICCUP. No, it did not work, he found out a split second after Torii did. "Okay, that didn't work..." Hiccup. Uhh. He quickly glanced at the board for the list of remedies.
"What's your..." Hiccup. "...middle name?"
*hiccup*
You know, in a way, this was embarrassing. Even though the hiccups had been purposely brought on, sitting here in a new school and meeting a fairly new person, all while hiccuping, was kind of embarrassing. Torii tried not to think about it, but it was a little hard seeing as she was still hiccuping.
*hiccup* "Victoria," she said, because that was where the whole Torii name came from in the first.
"What's yours?" She hiccuped another two times before she managed to glance back up at the board and read the list of methods again. Leap frog? That sounded kind of fun.
She hoped Gunnar didn't suggest singing the Hogwarts song. She didn't even know the school had a song!
