This was perfect. The smell of dirt and flowers and plants all around her. The silence that was only being broken by the side of her own humming. Nothing could make this moment better.

With all of her attention on what she was doing, spacing out the little holes she dug exactly the same amount apart she was in the zone. There was a startled shriek from her as there was suddenly a pair of hands over her eyes, making her jump and in the process fall backwards onto her bum. Dirt that was on the shovel from the hole she had been digging flying up into the air to land all over her.
