Ethan smiled down as Aaliyah as she spoke and his hand gently squeezed her arm, he knew why she was so happy about him eating again, seeing as for several months this year he had found it hard to put food in his mouth. Every little thing had felt like sawdust in his mouth and it had taken quite the effort just to swallow a small bite.

Now though.. he felt like he could eat all day and it still wouldn’t be enough. It was quite the switch and he was glad about it. His world was less foggy and more clear, happier, sunnier and he hoped if stayed that way for awhile.

”It will be, and I kinda want to go the slow one for the first time around, get our bearing and see some sights before going at breakneck speeds. What do you think?” He asked as he looked down at her with a soft grin.
