Walking through the part with her icecream cup in her hands she headed towards the park bench for some peace and quiet. Plus the inside of the shop was so crowded that their wasn't any spots, and outside of the shop didn't look any better. Walking around she seen a bench with someone she haven't seen in awhile and smiled. Oh man she haven't seen him since school, she wondered how he was, well better find out. "Lucas!" she called to him smiling at him.

Stella was a bit more tanned due to spending time in America over the summer. "Hi how are you, did you have a good summer?" she asked him. "Oh.. may I?" she asked pointing to the bench beside him. Looking at her icecream she frowned at the chocolate and strawberry soup that was now in her cup. "Looks like we got ice cream soup, but at least it's cold some." she said giggling.
Sluuuuuuur-

........

Lucas froze. His eyes were wide and he was still sitting there with his bowl of ice cream now sitting against his top lip. But that didn't matter because, uh..... someone had called his name. His name! It wasn't...... an uncommon name but if they were calling to him.......

..... was it getting hard to breathe in here?

He lowered his bowl slowly. There was a small line of ice cream above his upper lip but that didn't register in the twelve year old's brain as he looked around to see who was talking to him and, more importantly, if he was in some kind of trouble and and-

"Stella!"

He gave her a small wave, the breathing now becoming a lot easier and a smile spreading across his face. "Yeah, come sit," he said, giving the seat a small pat. It was someone he knew, so that made this whole, uh, conversation thing a lot easier. Very easy. "Yeah, summer was good. Great, even. No homework, eh?" Which was MUCH better. "And it was nice to see everyone again. I mean..... Hogwarts is nice but it's nice to be home too."

"How was your summer? You look...... different," he blurted out before he could stop himself. ...... Was that the right thing to say? It didn't sound like it. He tried not to shuffle or concentrate on how sweaty his palms were getting. Maybe he could just.... keep talking? Yeah. "I mean, you look like, uh..... like you've been in the sun a lot. Did you go to the beach?"

At the mention of the ice cream soup, his green eyes wandered down to her bowl of soup and he snorted. "Yeah, at least. It's a shame but I'd hate to have hot ice cream soup. Not in this weather."
