Like very very VERY hot!
It was probably because of this that Lucas chose to sit outside today. And because almost everywhere inside was full and the last thing he wanted to do was have to sit next to someone he didn't know. Sitting by himself was fine but trying to make conversation with a random stranger? No no no.
So, the young Gryffindor came out here, to this little park bench that had a little bit of shade on it. He sat down as carefully as he could, trying hard not to spill the bowl of ice cream he was clutching in his hands. It was ice cream but being out in the sun had made the contents melt and now he had..... soup. A great big mushy soup of strawberry and jam and some chocolate chip pieces that were floating around.
He wrinkled his nose slightly and held the bowl right up to his face and.....
