"I'm an unplottable structures specialist, that's why I said I might need to work with your department," reading through the fine details about the job had been difficult (read: mind-numbingly boring and so long) but it had been worth it, since now she could follow up with: "I'll work with the Environmental Permitting division, since it's closely related to what I do."
