Not only was Kendra eager to get back to work and take charge of her new department, but she was also eager to get to know her employees a little better. Sure, she had been acquainted with some of them in the past, but she wanted to develop some stronger working relationships. And what better way to do all that than with a department-wide meeting?
Maybe a quick icebreaker game along with some healthy snacks first, and then they could get down to some important business. Sounded like a great plan to Kendra, so once she sent out the memo to her department, she set about getting things ready in the conference room.
Freshly brewed coffee and tea as well as freshly baked pastries were set in the middle of the large table in the room. Once she made herself a cup of tea and selected a cheese danish, Kendra took a seat at the head of the table and opened up a file as she waited for her employees to arrive.
