He seemed like a natural at this cocktail hour. Quite the charming man. Hopefully he would get some work done starting... tomorrow. Her eyes then landed on Benzi, an old friend and coworker. She smiled at Jessa and wiggled her fingers at Benzi, a keen sparkle in her eye. Sparkle? Yeah. It had been there lately and she couldn't seem to ditch it.

"Then no getting hangry while we wait this out." Angelo teased lightly, pocketing the bar again. "I expect you to stay focused on the job at hand." More teasing, faux-sternness, he wasn't really ordering her about. But he was content to link arms with her for now and keep her at his side. It was cover enough. It was unfortunate that they couldn't completely mingle, but then they were working. If Evie wanted to for a little though... he did notice her greetings from afar towards Benzi and Alexa.

"If you want to say hi, I'll do a circuit. We can trade off." He suggested quietly. Then when he needed to make small talk, she could do the same. That way they always had each other's backs, and always had an eye on things.
