Dully, third year Rachel pointed her wand at the mass of old sponge that sat unnoticed under a table. She happened to be at another table in the Kitchen. Her usually bright spirits were down and this was because she believed she would score low marks in a recently completed Defense Against the Dark Arts examination. She was rather worried that Professor Hirsch would be disappointed in her.
“Waddiwasi.’’
Even her spell work was mirroring her mood for the sponge remained where it was as though glued sturdily to the floor. Rachel sighed, not in frustration, but in sadness. Now her attention was turned to the chicken and cucumber sandwich an elf had made her. This at least would help her to feel better even if it were for a little bit. |
