His eyes widened and he looked around wildly. People were already getting into partners and he was just..... sitting there. Yeah. Okay. He needed to find a partner. NOW.

Instead of calling out, Lucas got up from his seat and started wandering around to see if someone was free or LOOKED like they were free and didn't look so scary to approach. Because some of these older kids were too-cool-for-school and he had a feeling that they wouldn't want to partner up with him.Just like......

The first year stood there, looking as if he was staring at the boy but mentally, he was trying to practice his hellos. And how he was going to act. And trying to convince himself that this was a GOOD idea because otherwise, he was going to end up on his own and he didn't want that.

He did, eventually, approach the older kid with the good hair - how did he get it to be like that?! - with a smile on his face. "Hey! Do you want to be partners?"

It was seeming more and more like you had to actually get a partner and that was just a drag. Théo was just mentally sighing and not wanting to get up and ask anyone even tho it seemed all his friends already had partners.

Rude of them honestly.

Maybe he would get lucky and someone would ask him. Nah that wouldn't happen........

Serves him right for even trying to act smart or whatever. Théo looked over at the first year asking him. You dont see that everyday. The kid had...well you know. to be fair he wouldnt even be on a list Théo made up of who he would like to partner up with. But who cares.

"Sure, we can be partners. Im Théo. Want we to get the supplies?"

See look at him paying attention and being nice. He should get an award. And well he did want to get up from sitting.
