She was still on the fence about that.
Her attention was diverted by Hanna. "Oh, yes. Of course." She smiled. It would be perfect working together, and she was confident that they would have no problems with the activity; how hard would it be to work with two spells and a compression bandage? Fortunately Professor Noble would be checking their work just in case they did the sling wrong. "That's a perfect idea! I can't believe that I never thought about freezing fudge." Then again it wasn't a spell that she had cause to use very often. Madison just hadn't seen the point in it.
Watching Professor Noble being 'healed', she smiled. This really didn't seem TOO difficult. With her wand, she pointed it at a random spot on the grass. "Glacius." The area that she had pointed at became frozen. At least she knew that she hadn't lost touch with this spell. As far as Wingardium Leviosa was concerned, she could do that in her sleep. Yay! Hanna grinned at Maddie as they got to work. "I know, I mean I know muggles freeze things for... well to keep fresh. I can't believe I didn't think of it either." One of Hanna's cousins had a fridge and freezer, too. "We should try it!" And then... in a few weeks... see if it was still good when they warmed it up a little.
Hanna watched as Maddie cast the freezing charm, which seemed more powerful than hers. But not getting discouraged at that, because Maddie also had a whole year of experience that Hanna didn't have. "Did you want me to start treating you?" Hanna didn't mind going first if Maddie didn't want to.
She went to get a bandage, having no prior knowledge of brands. So it wasn't until she saw the packaging that she realised ACE was a brand, and not some other special kind of bandage. She pulled it from the packaging, and putting the wrappings aside to dispose of properly later. Undid the stretchy claw things and unwrapped it ever so slightly just to see how stretchy it was. Neat!
However, compression was the third component, not the first. Or... second, really. First it was Ice. "How should I get the ice to your... limb?" Hanna had a quick think before deciding that the frozen grass and dirt might suffice. It wouldn't be putting earth onto Maddie at all, because she had a bandage wrapper! Even though it was small, she figured it would do the job. "Glacius," she said, pointing her wand at a small pile of dirt and grass she had roughed up a little. She held the wand pointed there until it was all nice and frozen, then she put it into the wrapper. Not enough to make it a tight sausage, but enough to be flexible to curve around limbs. "Here!" It wasn't quite a bag of frozen peas, but it was as close as she could think of. "What limb did you hurt?"
