Huh, what do ya know, looked like the professor had liked Benji's answer after all. He was truthfully a little shocked, but he was certainly pleased, as well, almost despite himself.

...Although for all his internal complaining about the rulebreakers earlier, he did have to admit that he genuinely felt bad for the ones who had broken the rules by accident. He cast a quick sidelong glance at the poor Hufflepuffs doing pushups, but he didn't let his gaze linger. Didn't want to be thought to be a sympathizer, you know.

Considering the professor's question, Benji raised his hand and waited to be called upon. He didn't know much about pyromancy, but he had read a few things in the textbook over the summer (what a nerd). "Sir, I think that 'typical' may change depending on what type of pyromancy one is attempting. I know for some types, the seer is meant to throw something particular into the fire, like salt or different types of herbs. So I would suppose that each type of pyromancy has its own version of a typical session, depending on what you need, when you're supposed to use it, and things like that."

Right? Hopefully that would suffice. He was halfway guessing, but it was an educated guess, at least, not a total shot in the dark...
