Madison quickly finished working on her notes as she listened to the professor explain what they were supposed to do. It seemed simple enough to her, and there probably wasn't going to be any problems with her plant; well, it at least looked like it wasn't in bad shape to her. And even though she wasn't a bit fan of touching dead animals, at least the chizpurfles were small and she had gloves on.
Right.
She made her way over to the barrel and made sure to collect quite a few of them so that her plant would be nice and full. And then drowsy. Madison smiled, figuring that she had plenty. "Here you go, little fellow. Eat like there is no tomorrow." Clearly the plant was listening to her, because it seemed like all the chizpurfles were gone in a few seconds. Madison blinked. "Well, okay then." Now get sleepy so that you can be watered and looked after, she thought to herself as she began working on her notes. It probably wouldn't take her too long to get this done, because the venomous tentacula already seemed to be feeling the effects of having so much food. "Excellent." Now she could work on giving it some water as well as a bit of a trimming.
Looking at it closely, Madison saw that it seemed to be in need of quite a bit of water; the soil was dry, and the leaves were looking a little worse for wear because of it. The plant was also slightly on the small side. Using her wand, she fed it with aguamenti, making sure not to give TOO much. Over watering was a thing, and she didn't want to drown it. After that, some fertilizer was added because there was nothing wrong with promoting further growth. She wanted her venomous tentacula to do REALLY well.
That would do the trick, and now she could move on to the next bit of care: removing the dead leaves.
While the vines seemed to be pretty healthy on the most part, there were quite a few dead leaves on the plant. Madison started cutting away at them using diffindo, making sure that she got each and every one of them. Once that was out of the way, she was feeling quite satisfied with the state of her plant, so she finished working on the observations.
What now? Quote:
