Rylee Prichard was indeed standing at the foot of her favorite path along the pathways staring blankly straight ahead at nothing. Or so it may have appeared so to anyone that didn't know this was where she had been last term during the Inferi attack. There was a deep internal battle happening inside her. Part of her wanted to suck up her own fear and head down the pathway as normal but another stronger part wasn't allowing it.
So there she remained for the time being willing herself to either move forward or turn around. Neither of these things happening. Drew had only started appreciating the nature around him. However, he was still a bit angsty about the pathways and other certain places in Hogwarts. All summer, he had different kinds of nightmares on occasional nights. Whether they were about being choked by an inferius or drowning in the lake while being pulled down by grindylows, it still sent him sweating and shaking whenever he woke up.
Things felt incredibly new to him now with such experience. But, like Nessa said during the summer, he had to live with the fear. The thought was scary, it really was, but he also learned to move on. It was going to be a gradual process.
Passing by the pathways, Drew noticed Rylee simply standing there. Not moving. It was strange. Out of curiosity, he approached her and lightly nudged her arm. What....... was she staring at?
