Kaysha Stewart had not an ounce of musical talent but it wasn’t as though she occasionally liked to teach herself the piano. It was the possibly the only instrument she was drawn to which was why she found herself at the Music room that day. Quite mercifully, the piano was unoccupied so she took up position before it. For a moment, she studied the black and white keys, mentally recalling the notes each played.
Long, slim fingers trailed across the keys as she moved her gaze to the song book propped directly in front of her. A few notes were memorised before she looked back at the keys. Rather slowly (painfully so) Kay started to gently push them so that they corresponded to the music sheet.
Still... it sounded off key. |
