a bit of madness is key | miss chanandler bong | those cunning folks use any means

Haraldur was late but he wasn't too late. Which was an accomplishment in itself. With his bag of peanuts, secretly and safely tucked away in one of his robe pockets, he slowly hovered up to the staff dais on his trusted broom. Most of the seats were already taken by the time he arrived but he was always among the last to arrive to all staff meetings and feasts. He was a busy man. And old. He was getting too old to put up with anything related to what they faced at the end of the previous term.

”Good evening, colleagues…” He hummed as he dismounted his broom. He smiled at Katrina and Foster, unaware that his late arrival caused him to miss a musical performance from the latter. Kalen and Tristan got a pat each on their shoulders as he looked over at Gaston. He was looking rough to say the least. They were all affected by the attack at the end of term but Gaston seemed... Changed, almost. Haraldur gave the Deputy Headmaster a sympathetic nod before passing the empty Divination seat.

Regina, good evening.” He pulled out his chair next to the Headmistress but before he sat down, he did a quick detour. The new Herbology and History of Magic professors got a nod and a smile each before he lingered by Kaysha and Noble.

”Hello Kaysha, all well?” He asked her before glancing over Noble’s shoulder. ”That bodes well, doesn’t it?” He mused, nodding towards the end result of the cricket game between England and India. Truthfully, he wasn’t too interested in any muggle sport but Noble put up with his Quidditch-talk so he could put up with some football and cricket.
