Tristan had been a little distracted when he heard his name. He looked up to see where the voice had come from and gave a small smile. "Good evening, Joshua. Hope you are adjusting well." Tristan said with a small grin. It was interesting at how many of his colleagues were former school mates of his.

How many were there now? Joshua, Kalen, Kaysha...he was sure their were others but he wasn't positive on that.

Tristan was trying to figure out who Kaysha was giving the confused look too. It was either him or Kalen. It twisted into one of concern before she responded to him seemingly happily. He gave her a small smile before replying, "It was wonderful, actually. Thank you for asking." He said with a grin. "All set for the new term?" He asked casually sneaking a glance at the tea cup close to his hand.

As Joshua gave Kaysha a fun gift...he tried to hide his amusement by pursing his lips. Those two never did get along. Always pranking each other. He shook his head and looked away like it hadn't happened. He was not going to get into the middle of that.

How formal a greeting was that? Alice full named him. He would have to do the same back, "You are very welcome, Professor Alice O'Hara." He said with a grin. Tristan hid his smirk by putting his hand over his face and coughing. "Excuse me, and yes it was very productive indeed." Honestly...it wasn't all that productive work wise...but in other ways it definitely was. "I take it you are ready for the new term?" He asked with a kind smile.

Tristan nodded with a small smile at Foster, "Doing very well, and yourself? Enjoying the splendor of Hogwarts?" He said with a grin and a flourish of his hand. "You'll have to tell me about Ilvermorny compared to the castle." He was completely interested in what it was like there. He had the interesting opportunity to work at Durmstrang...and well....that was intriguing. He was sure the American school wasn't anything like that though.

As he turned away from his colleagues greetings, Tristan grinned at Kalen, contemplating taking another sip of his tea. "Good, good." He said with a wink, before smiling hugely. "My summer....well it was pretty perfect, actually. How was your's?" He said with a rueful grin, before tapping a beat on the table to give his hands something to do.

"You never could, Kale Chip." He said answering his wink with another. "Though it would be nice if you had a second cup occasionally...and maybe some Chai." He said raising an eyebrow with a smirk. Earl Grey wasn't his go to tea, but he drank it when he couldn't find his favorite.

He snatched Kalen's tea cup again and took a sip. "Yep...still warm." He said putting the cup back in it's place with a grin.
