Jessa nodded when the young girl offered up her own name in response, as likely to remember it as she was to forget it but she was used to the formalities when meeting up with relatively new people. The Ravenclaw kept a close eye on Tiberius, prepared to pull him away should he start acting up but the cat was on his best behaviour and she was honestly proud.

The pride only grew when someone else asked to pet them. “Sure you can.” She said, gesturing him closer after she’d gotten all she needed from the trolley woman and handed over a few sickles. “He’s very soft. I’ve been working at getting their fur to feel this way for what feels like ages.” It was always the small things when it came to her experiments. The little modifications made the biggest difference for her.

Her gaze moved from the kid to the older girl he was obviously in line with. Someone set in charge of him by the sound of it. Did she care the girl had simply asserted herself to the front? No. There was a lot she didn’t care about right now and planned to keep it that way for the sake of her anxiety. “No real way of getting lost. It’s one train and all cars are going to the same place.” Getting lost was unfortunately a rather difficult ordeal, she would know.

And another grumbling stomach. This had Jessa looking around just in time to catch the grin on Dorian’s face. She did offer something of a smile in return but left him to his conversation with that Hufflepuff girl. Two for two on Hufflepuff with grumbling stomachs today. An interesting trend.
