Once Kalen had the water in his cup, he heated it with a charm and then put his earl Grey tea bag in it to let it steep. One day the house elves would hopefully have a cup waiting for him. But today was not that day, and so he did it himself.
The process was soothing though and he was getting back to feeling at least some of his normal self. Though he really wished summer hadn’t ended. It had been the best few months of his entire life.
A soft smile came to his lips as a few memories stuck out, but his musings were interrupted by a few more of his colleagues arriving including Tristan.
He managed to keep the beam down to a minimum as he nodded at Joshua and Foster, before he smiled at Tristan as he put his hand on his shoulder and then stole some of his tea again!
“Triscuit.. I am doing all right.” He said casually as if he hadn’t seen the man a half an hour ago. “And you? How was your summer?” He asked with a sly smirk before shaking his head a bit.
“I should hope I don’t disappoint.” He said with a wink over at the other man.
