Septimus had taken to starring out at the families and students still on the platform. So much action marking the day. At the sound of the compartment door opening, the third year slowly turned his head back in that direction only to find a girl coming in. A girl apparently surprised by his presence…and who knew his name. “Yeah…that’s me,” he confirmed, letting his gaze have a better look at his companion. A housemate for sure, but the rest he was blanking on.

“Um…sure.” Not like he could hog a compartment to himself, especially once it got more cramped before they left Kings Cross. "Free to sit where you want."
