Besides Stells was more of a fall girl, pumpkins and leaves changing now that was what she liked. Although the first snow fall was always so magical, she wondered what it'll be like at Hogwarts her dad said it was magical staying during in his first year to witness it. She couldn't help but not to giggle at herself, here she was thinking about fall and winter and it was almost time for school to start. Now to beat the heat, she waa inside one of her favorite shops in Diagon Alley which was the Ice Cream shop!
Yes!
She loved this place, there was so many goodies to pick from but this time she gotten two scoops of mint chocolate chip on a cone. Licking her ice cream cone, she debated on whether she wanted to eat inside or outside, her ice cream was already starting to melt, she didn't want it to melt anymore. Inside it was, besides she wasn't going to let her ice cream that she brought melt and she wouldn't have any of the deliciousness that wouldn't be good. Taking a sest in a booth because they were more comfy to her, she started licking and eating her ice cream in pure heaven, nothing made her cool down and happy but ice cream after buying her wand. She looked around, alot of people were with their friends and older then her, she felt a bit alone but maybr someone would talk to her so she could make some friends. Lucas hurried into the ice cream store, not really taking in anything else around him. Even though he was excited about going to Hogwarts soon - so excited that he was counting down the days! - it didn’t stop him from using this opportunity as much as he could. How many times did he come here? ...... He didn’t know the number but it wasn’t many.
After considering the menu board, the young boy ordered one of his favourites: strawberry jam. Cone in hand, he turned around and glanced at the surrounding area. That table was full..... so was that one.... so was that one..... Hmm. He bit his lip as he shuffled forwards, looking from seat to seat to try and find an empty one. The last thing he wanted to do was have to sit next to someone, especially someone he didn’t kno-
Oh! There! Right there!
Breathing a sigh of relief, Lucas hurried the seat as quickly as his small legs could take him. Because he had to get there before anyone else did! He flopped down on the empty seat, the biggest smile on his face. A smile that..... started...... to fade.
Why? Because in all his rush, in all his excitement, he didn’t notice that he was wrong about something. There was someone sitting here and she was new and now, he was either going to have to talk to her or run for the hills. And the second option was sounding much better.
Uh. He wiggled uncomfortably in his seat as he did his best to smile at her. Should he say something? He should say something. "Hi! I, uh, didn’t see you were sitting here. Tall seats, you know." Pause. "Nice ice cream, right?" Good job.
