It was only her second day on the job, but Nailah thought she was getting into the swing of things quite nicely. She'd spent most of her first day re-organizing the displays to her liking, and now she was behind the counter re-dusting and making sure the checkout area was nice and neat. She brushed a duster across the cash register, even though she'd just done that yesterday, and there likely wasn't even a speck left. Maybe she'd follow it up with magic just to make sure.

A moment later, a little bell above the shop door jingled, and Nailah looked up to see a customer. Seeing as the shop wasn't busy at the moment, she emerged from behind the counter, duster still in hand. "Well, hello there!" she said. "Can I help you find something? I've got....candy, candy, and more candy!"

How did she ever get so lucky?!
