The Inferi had taken a beating from the humans, but they weren't giving up! The burning remains of the Inferius stayed firmly in place as the injured boy (Flynn) struggled. It was only when hit with the girl's (Jessa) knockback jinx that it dislodged, flying toward the wall where it crashed in a ball of flame and ash. Satisfied that the boy was finally too injured to fight back, the Inferi surrounding him turned to the girl who'd fired the spell instead.

They ran at her, dodging the fire rope that she aimed at their comrades dealing with the adult, as they tried to tackle the young girl to the ground. The rope made contact with one of the creatures on top of her, setting it ablaze. it cried out, flailing in agony as it burned and catching a couple of its nearest brethren on fire with it. The burning bodies slumped forward, falling on top of the woman in a fiery heap.

One of the Inferi grabbing the boy's (Ronan) hands screeched in pain as the animal he was holding let out a blast of fire right in its face. It fell to the ground in a pile of fire and bone. Meanwhile, its angered comrades pounced, clawing at the boy's arms in an attempt to get him to drop the animal. Stop the animal, stop the fire. A couple of his kicks dislodged Inferi's spines. They fell with a sick crackling of bone as their lower halfs separated, but they weren't done with this one yet! The upper torsos of the severed creatures inched along, clawing at the boy's legs in an attempt to pull themselves up. They would get him one way or another!
