Phew, the Skrewt flame-thrower had worked on the Inferi surrounding the professor at least. Ronan turned back to the greenhouse proper at hearing a voice and whoa.......
He pulled his wand out of his pocket, temporarily transferring the Skrewt to his left hand and sent a silent 'Aguamenti! at the flaming Flynn and cast a ring of fire around the other guy as protection. Honestly, he was surprised the Slytherin prefect was still alive as bad as he was burnt. Also surprising was the begging. Though, he was on fire so....
All thought was driven out of Ronan's mind when his wrists were grabbed by two of those awful things and shoved together. It felt like they were in a vice. Ugh. Thankfully, the pressure caused the Skrewt to let off a blast of fire in the Inferi's faces. But just for extra measure, he braced himself and kicked the Inferi's abdomens.
So distracted was he that he didn't even notice the newcomer.
