Yeah I broke that mirror, so what? ll NOT backward ll Official Gryfferin ll Lemon's favourite

Aethonan secured, Jessa hurried toward the greenhouses. She'd been allowed to house several of her hybrid experiments in the greenhouses with the Professor's blessing and now that was looking more like a curse. There were inferi all over the grounds and as she approached the greenhouses, it became all too clear she wouldn't be lucky twice.

If the screams weren't confirmation enough, the bursts of fire that lit up the night cemented that.

For Circe sake.

Jessa slowed her pace, not thinking it wise to simply bust in before she knew what she was dealing with but as she inched toward the broken down door, the scene became all too evident. Yes, she did see her schoolmates and Professor struggling against the small army of undead but her eyes were locked on the plants and pots that had been over turned. It was enough to elicit a gasp from her, one that sent her lungs burning more than the burns on her skin. It took everything in her not to scream at the carnage. Her plants...her babies??

Whu.....? Why.....? What had the plants ever done to them??

It was Flynn that broke her out of her dazed state, her heart breaking as much as it had--if not more--than when those by the lake had been destroying the inferi. Her hybrids. She'd spent so much time on them. Wordlessly, Jessa cast the knockback jinx at the inferi that surrounded the Slytherin Prefect. He already had a burning corpse on him, there was no sense in surrounding him in fire. Best to try dislodging them from him.

In the next second she saw Professor Vance being pinned to the ground. Her own fire spell had sent some running but the others hadn't move. Not moving from her spot at the door, her only exit, the point she would not pass, Jessa cast a non-verbal fire rope toward those that held her down, hoping to get them running long enough for the woman to get back to her feet.

But there was too much going on. Viv, Felicity...Ronan... She couldn't save them all, not alone. Perhaps she should've headed for the castle after the stables. Her plants were destroyed. There was nothing she could do anymore.
