More time for bigger and better things. Like flying. If anyone asked her what she was doing she would be honest and say that she couldn't sleep so she was getting some practice in for Quidditch.
With her broom in her hand Rylee made her way out onto the pitch. Swinging her leg over her broom she positioned her hands comfortably, kicked off on the ground and slowly rose up into the air a few feet. Not to high since she was alone but enough to feel the wind through her hair and and the sting on her cheeks.
Up ahead she spotted someone else but she wasn't exactly sure who it was. Leaning forward slightly to pick up speed, Rylee flew towards the other person a smile warming her face when she saw the professor. "Good morning, Professor Stewart! It's a beautiful day for flying, isn't it?" she asked happily flying alongside the women leaving space between them so they wouldn't collide in case she surprised her with her arrival.
After hovering for a few minutes, Kay had finally gone airborne. She rather enjoyed the early morning breeze hitting her face and sweeping her long brown ponytailed hair around. It was peaceful but only just for a moment for she saw Rylee take off into the air. She sighed inwardly. Normally she would have welcomed company.
However, Rylee was not one of those that blamed her for any of the events that unfolded last term. It was something Kay was grateful for. Hence, she tugged a halfhearted smile. "Good morning to you as well, Ms. Prichard. It certainly is. Are you going to be tossing any balls to practice catching them?'' She had not thought of doing so up until that moment. |
