History of Magic, yadda yadda. Anna was ready to spend the next big chunk of her time staring out the window, daydreaming about being able to fly during those great morning hours when she heard the words ice cream.
Whipping her head to face the professor, the Gryffindor perked up and sat up straighter to see if he was going to open the cooler and give out the treats. But nope, not yet, apparently.
"Meh." She sighed and rested her cheek on her hand and elbow on her desk. Although she was staring out the window, she was sort of listening to the older man and once again she turned back to him when he mentioned casual Fridays. "Cool!" She exclaimed, looking around to spot her fellow third year who had suggested it and giving Patrick Dooley a double!thumbs up. Well done, you, Patrick.
Now that all of that got her attention, she couldn't help but listen to the first question given by the professor. Who was her favourite fiction writer? She had no clue. "I don't have one." The girl casually said, shrugging. Now, was it because she liked so many authors that she couldn't pick just one or because she didn't read much at all? She'd let others decide it was the latter. |
