Well, Vivian obviously didn't take Latin class for a reason. Although she was fully aware that learning the language was beneficial especially with deriving incantations and other words, like what they seemed to be doing today, the seventh year had so much on her plate for the entire term anyway. She'd already dropped a couple of extra-curriculars last term, and she still felt like drowning. On top of that, she felt that her life-long pursuit to learn Romanian was quite enough. Her brain might implode sooner or later.
When classes started, Vivian stretched her arms out a bit so she didn't instantly fall asleep. But she liked that they weren't going to the actual lesson and the Head Girl found a tiny bit of relief that it meant she wouldn't snooze all the sudden. It gave her time to ponder on what exactly her favourite book was. She had only started actually appreciating the art of literature, but she rarely had time for it these days. Recreation and education weren't the best mix for her sanity.
There was Beedle the Bard, sure. It was a classic, and her mum read the stories to her during bedtime too. Plus a few Muggle fictional classics too, like princess. However, she was seventeen and those were for kids. "I enjoy books written by Jenny Han, professor. She's a muggle author," Vivian shared after raising her hand. Her 'To All The Boys I've Loved Before' tugged a few heartstrings as she read. She actually felt that book to a certain degree. "And John Green is a lovely author too."
