Learning against a rock by the tree, Ewan was at there, his favourite grey rucksack laying open next to him. In his hands, his most precious belonging. His
Koa Ukulele . With his eyes closed, he was plucking away, his fingers playing his
favourite song automatically. He'd played it so many times that his fingers had it memorised. After several seconds, he started to sing along, his voice, filling the air with the sad echoes of pain.
"Hold me close and hold me fast,
The magic spell you cast,
This is la vie en rose"
People were always surprised when Ewan started to sing, mainly because he could actually sing quite well. It mattered not to him, the only person who's opinion mattered wasn't able to hear him anymore.
He always seemed to get lost in thought whenever he played this song. With everything so peaceful, he felt slightly bad for ruining it but he had to sneak off somewhere alone. He'd had such an amazing first lesson but.. he missed home. He wished he could just visit home, just for 5 minutes to talk to his family.
