Oliver's reaction was more or less what Esme had expected it to be, and quite similar to what her initial response had been. This was something very big and scary and she was still wrapping her head around it; he would be too, obviously. She gave his hand a small squeeze, figuring that he would have no idea how to respond to her. It was okay though. This was a lot to deal with.
